6 Books I Decided to Judge By the Covers, And Were Awesome!

I usually go off book recommendations, or by reading the back cover of course, but I decided to judge a few books by their interesting covers and titles and it worked well! It was pretty hard trying to resist reading the back cover. And now i want the word out on these books! These six books range from fiction, teen fiction, poetry and even graphic novel!  Three of these are bestsellers that i've been recommending to people and the feedback is great! Each book has a link for you IF you just cannot judge a book by the cover, don't worry, i completely understand. If you do happen to read one of these lovely books, leave a review in the comments!

Lovely News..

so for a long while I stopped blogging and started writing in my journals, short fiction and poetry, some of which have been chosen to be published and have won a few contests. I also ended up releasing my own poetry chapter book after one of my cousins passed away. Right now in life, the sun is shinning. I'm about to marry my best friend, April 4th, we're starting our lives together and it feels like a lovely cool breeze has blown over our lives. everything just feels so blissful, and I feel like sharing it with everyone.
I want to try to keep this blog alive and going, with personal stories of our everyday lives from being lazy at home, to going out to shows or traveling the world. In fact, this past February, I was in Hawaii for two weeks with Nic, it really was paradise. I'll also be adding posts of book reviews, if you don't know, I work at a book store. And maybe some DIY projects too, especially with my wedding being very DIY, ill post those projects here too!

I'm ready to bring this back :]

OOTD: plus I got a job!

So I've never done an outfit of the day post before so I thought I'd go ahead and do one :) I love fall/winter and the layering of the clothes style :) now, I really don't consider myself fashionable, I don't get too dressy most of the time. This is why I like fall, relaxed outfits, layers, easy fashion in my eyes. I love fall and I love winter.
Today I had an interview for a sunglasses shop and I got the job on the spot! I'm so happy! I think I'll actually enjoy this job. And it's close to home so no problems driving to work.
Another great thing that happened today is that I got my tax transcript in the mail for my financial aid! So I'm going to my college tomorrow to bring it in :) I love school, can't wait to be back in class. So far I'm planning on taking philosophy and a English creative writing class. I'll probably choose two more. :)
And! Nic got me a book!!!!!!! I've been wanting to read it for a very good while now and he got it for me :) he is always buying me books I have on my to read list :) love my hubby. And so for I'm loving this book too!

Good reads

I've only just started the first few pages of The Hunger Games, but I know I'll obsess over it soon!! I've heard great things about this book, non-stop. People tell me they loved it so much that they read it in about 2-3 days, that's when you know you've found a great book. Your up till 5am, finishing the last page, happy about they story but sad it's ending. :] i cant wait to fully throw myself into this book! And i know that they are releasing a Hunger Games movie soon, i saw the trailer! so i guess i may have spoiled the book a bit for myself, but it was just motivation to read the book before seeing the movie! I think both are going to be fantastic! :]
