The County office

Guest post from: Kent Lara
My husband recently accepted a position in the county office for the public school system. He has been in education for 21 years, and has always been a classroom teacher. In the position he took in the county office, he will be involved in security decisions for the schools. His first project was to find a security system for the schools. He did a great amount of research and found a system at www.Securitychoice.com that he felt was appropriate for the schools. There have been a few school break-ins over the past year. A couple of the break-ins involved students who were performing senior pranks and were trying to get into the school to do some property damage. My husband feels that there should be no tolerance for breaking into a school, and there should be serious consequences for these students. Hopefully the new security system will deter students from attempting even the stupidest of pranks.
